Fortis x Heron Carp Illustrated Bucket Hat *** PRE-ORDER ***

Following dozens of requests, I decided to produce one extremely limited run.

Each Fortis × Heron Reversible Bucket Hat is individually hand-dyed, distressed, bleached and painted by hand, making every single piece completely unique. The process takes several hours per hat, with multiple layers of dye and bleach carefully applied to create a rich, worn-in finish before being completed with an illustrated carp. For me, these aren't a money maker as there is no production line - I just think they're cool and cannot resist drawing carp on things. 

No two hats are ever the same, and once this batch has gone, these exact designs will never be repeated.

The camo side is sun-bleached, aged and distressed for a naturally worn, vintage look, while the reverse side features a vibrant, hyperspace-inspired finish for those days when subtle just isn't on the agenda.

I honestly wasn't planning on making another batch, but I enjoyed creating them too much... and, seeing as I've now taken the leap and made Heron Co. my full-time job, I thought I'd better get back in the workshop.

With each hat taking several hours to complete, production is limited to just five of each size. You'll own one of only a handful ever made.

Crafted from 100% cotton, the bucket hat is lightweight, breathable and designed for long days on the bank. The classic bucket shape provides excellent protection from the sun, while the oversized rigid brim helps reduce glare and unwanted sidelight.

Finished with woven Fortis and Heron Co. labels.
